Makeup Empties ...

Ok, so I may have let me empties build up a little too long and now I have that many I have had to split them up into different posts.

Here is my makeup empties ....

Starting off with mascara!

Loreal Volume Million Lashes - Glitter top coat: I believe this was inside a gift with purchase from Boots a while back. It doesn't give any colour to the lashes but adds a beautiful glittery coating to the lashes after applying your normal mascara. Cute product, not sure it's something I would repurchase.

Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash: This is now one of my favourite mascaras after trying out in the Love Me Beauty box (See post), it's a mascara I probably wouldn't have tried if it wasn't for this subscription box. It gives tones of length and massively thickens the volume of the lashes.

Revlon Volume + Length: Again I received this in a subscription box (Glossybox), and I adore this mascara. It gets better and better the more it dries up, giving volume and length as the name would suggest, adding to a fanned lash look.

Benefit they're Real: I have mixed feelings about this mascara, mostly not so good to be honest. I know its a lot of peoples favourites and I can see why from the final result it gives. But I find the plastic wand on this really actually hurts my lashes when applying. I much prefer the application and look that the Benefit Rollerlash mascara gives.

Benefit Bad Gal Lash: This again isn't one of my favourites, I wasn't keen on the look it creates and I found this dried out rather quickly, even though its a deluxe sample it only lasted about two weeks.

Know I do love me a good brow product, which of these did I love? Read on ...

Benefit goof proof brow pencil: Im starting off with my all time favourite brow product from this bunch. I got two deluxe sized samples of these via different magazines when they were first released. Each one actually lasted such a long time, so I really got to try it well. I first started with shade 5, as I have very dark brown hair. I actually really loved this until I tried the shade 3. I found shade 3 to still have the intensity but just a little less harsh on me, especially as I'm super pale. I found this so easy to use, literally line the brows top and bottom, then fill it. Love this.

Sleek eyebrow stylist: This is a very similar product to the Benefit goof proof actually. I brought mine in the dark brown which was slightly too dark for me, but the medium in this product looks more Auburn, so they don't really have the right shade range for me, but lovely product.

Loreal Brow Artist pencil: I used this for many months before I found I preferred others types of brow product. This is something you really need to use with a light hand as the pencil is super soft and can easily go wrong.

Loreal Brow Artist Plumper: I feel this is best suited to people with thick eyebrows which they struggle to keep in place. I don't really have that problem so this product didn't really do a lot for me to be honest. Used it a couple of times and decided it wasn't for me.

Maybelline Glitter liner: This has a black base with gold glitter over the top, and I love it. It gives an amazing metallic look to the eye and I find these liners really easy to use and apply. I'm currently using the black matte one which is amazing also.

Loreal Super Liner: This is another favourite eyeliner, I've had it in all the shades over the years. I find them so easy to apply and create a winged liner. Definitely a liner I will repurchase over and over.

Loreal So Couture Super Liner: Another fab Loreal liner that stays put well, but not as easy to apply as it has a smaller pointed nib to the regular super liner as above.

Cynthia Rowley liner: Now this I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend at all. It was terrible to apply and literally went all over the place. Tried it once and gave up on this one.

Rimmel Exaggerate lip liner: I don't use up that many lip liners normally but I have got through a few of this one in the shade Eastend snob. Mainly because you don't get an over lot of product in these wind up ones, but this colour is amazing. I literally line the whole of my lips and sometimes leave it at that, or apply a nude lipstick over the top. Love this, lasts so well and wears off the lips lovely.

Loreal Infallible fixing mist: When this first came out in the UK I was desperate to try it out. After I tried it the first time I then went and brought back ups straight away, I have probably got through about four of these. I love spraying it on my face after I have done my makeup, its super refreshing.
It does help my makeup to sit better after it's sprayed and last longer through out the day. One thing I will say is make sure you shake up the bottle before you spray it or you will end up with white paint looking splatter all over your face that doesn't come off easy!

NYX Pore Filler primer: This primer is super lovely and very similar to the Benefit Porefessional, that I also love. It has that mousse whipped texture that helps to smooth out the skin to prep before foundation.

Real Techniques beauty sponge: It took me so long to try out a beauty sponge, I first tried the Original Beauty Blender which unfortunately went mouldy straight away, they believed it too be faulty and sent me a new one, but I'm yet to try it again. I tried the Real Techniques and feel in love straight away. I love applying my foundation with this in a morning and feeling it definitely helps my foundation sit better. I literally can't go back to a brush for my foundation now.

Talking about foundation ...

Seventeen Stay Time Foundation: I tried this out after a few bloggers recommended it too me. I used to use Estee Lauder double wear, I then went to Boots No7 Beautifully matte which I loved but it slightly oxides on my skin. As soon as I tried this I loved it. Its super thick and covers so well, especially with my beauty sponge. I use this lightest two shades in Porcelain and Soft Ivory, sometimes I mix them together or use them alone. It also contains SPF 25 which is amazing.

Loreal Cushion De Soleil: When this product was first released I ask you guys on Instagram what you thought of it and so many of you had bad things to say. But me being me I had to try it for myself. Im so glad I did as I absolutely loved it. I don't use the puff applicator that comes with it, I used a small dense brush and tap it in the product. I adore the colour and effect it gives to my skin.
I have repurchased this.

Rimmel Stay perfect powder: So many of these are purchased I see at work (Boots) so I wanted to try it out for myself. I really like it and think it definitely helped my foundation last longer. I have since tried the one with the turquoise around the edge, is it the clear complexion? I much prefer that one and use it on a daily basis.

Gosh Primer & Mattifying setting powder: Now this is amazing! I used this and was so blown away with how much it helps my oily skin and the longevity of my makeup. One thing though is I wouldn't use this on a daily basis as it actually does dry out the skin a little too much. I would repurchase this.

And last of all concealers ...

Seventeen Stay Time: Im super fussy when it comes to concealers, this Seventeen one really impressed me. It's a really good coverage without giving any cakey effect under the eye. It's a fab low end price and I will repurchase this again.

Collection Lasting Perfection: Now this is my absolute Holy Grail product, I literally can't be without one of these. I have the shade 1 and adore it so much. It really helps cover my dark circles and lasts so well on my skin. I actually need to go out and buy some more backups of this as my last one is about to run out. I would love Collection to bring out a shade 0 in this though, making it slightly lighter, I think this would be a real hit!

And thats it for my Makeup empties this time. A rather large one I know, but I'm hoping this helps someone somehow.

Let me know some of your favourites in the comments below or if you have any recommendations you think I should try out.

Next up in my empties will be skincare, so stay tuned!

So many lovely products. I have NYX Pore Filler too and I can't live without my RT Miracle Sponge. I don't think I'll ever go back to applying my foundation with a brush.

Wow! There are some really great products here. I really want to try the NYX pore filler primer as I love Porefessional but I do find it pricey!

I wonder if the Gosh Primer would work on my skin as my skin is very oily so it might not dry out my skin!

That amount of empties would be a years worth for me. I'm also the person that loves They're Real mascara but it's one of the few that doesn't irritate my eyes.

Kaz, I bought stay time foundation after reading about it in one of your blogs and LOVE it, so much cheaper than my double wear... But Boots seem to have discontinued it? Any idea on this? And if so is there anything else you can recommend to save me spending £30 on double weat again? The stay time was such a bargain!
