Our day out at West Midlands Safari Park

As a family we love to do days out, but don't get to often do them! So we were thrilled to be able to visit West Midlands Safari Park thanks to a VIP Blogger Pass* I received at the #BloggerHalloweenParty I attended last year!

I don't often talk about my little family of five here on JinksyBeauty but let me tell you about us. Myself and my hubby have two beautiful children, our daughter Amber who has just turned 8 years old, and our son Leo who turned 11 yesterday! But a family of five though you said? ... Yes well we have a mini shih-tzu called Minnie, but obviously she wasn't allowed to come on the day out with us!

My Love Me Beauty goodies ...

Can you believe it, I have actually never tried Charlotte Tilbury cosmetics before?

Well know I can, with all my Love Me Beauty goodies* ...

Let's start off with how amazing this months edit bag is? It's got to be one of my absolute favourite prints yet! Super cute right?

With these amazing Charlotte Tilbury lipstick samples, they couldn't not focus on these ...

Charlotte Tilbury have some amazing lipsticks from what I have heard, and Love Me Beauty are giving everyone the chance to try out some of their amazing ranges and shades.

I have the Matte Revolution pack, but they also do the legendary Hot Lips and K.I.S.S.I.N.G ranges. Each set is only 10 credits in the Love Me Beauty Boutique. Such a fabulous way to try out such an iconic brand.

I adore Kat Von D Beauty products, they are all incredible quality and are simple a beautiful cosmetics brand. Love Me Beauty have an incredible range on the boutique right now, including the Lock It Concealer, which I'm dying to try out.

And lastly in my Love Me Beauty goodies from this months edit is the amazing range that is Nuxe.

Im a massive fan of the Nuxe guile Prodigieuse Or multi purpose dry oil.
It can be used on the face, body and hair. I love it for my hair, as it's one of the few that doesn't make my it feel greasy. This is the glitz sparkle version, but they also do it without the glitter. The original version is just as good and my friend has just started using it on her beautiful pregnant tummy, and she says it's lovely for that.

How amazing is this months Love Me Beauty edit?

My favourites of New in Beauty ...

I love new beauty releases, so I thought I would gather together some of my favourites to share with you, including Loreal, Barry M cosmetics, Caudalie and Colab hair.

One of my favourite skincare launches from last year was the Loreal Pure Clay face masks (blogpost here). So I was thrilled when I saw they had added more to the range, with these matching face washes.

As I'm of oily skin type one of my favourite's of the three to help with this is the purity wash, this helps to cleanse, purify and most importantly mattify! This alone with the face mask really truly are one of the best products I have found to actually make a difference to my oiliness, never have I tried another product as yet that makes me skin feel dry in a good way.

I've always adored any skincare product that contains charcoal, the detox wash helps to cleanse, clarify and detoxify the skin. This I believe is the best option for normal to combination skin types.

And lastly is the glow scrub face wash that helps to cleanse, brighten and exfoliate the skin. This is the best option for more dry skin types but I absolutely adore it for a good old exfoliate. It has tiny micro beads that don't feel too harsh on the skin but help to get rid of any rough patches, leaving my skin feeling super smooth.

These Loreal Pure Clay washes are available in stores at Boots.

A brand new launch from Barry M cosmetics is their Matte Me Up liquid lip paints. They come in five shades on their own or you can purchase three shades with a lip pencil in a lip kit (these are on my wishlist).

On Superdrug online right now you can purchase these five single shades in a bundle for £15.00, and also receive the chisel cheeks contour kit free when you spent over £8.00.

Im not going to say anymore on these right now, so look out for a feature blogpost with swatches coming soon!

A new hair product release is the Colab paradise dry shampoo*.

First of all, how cute is this packaging? Super bright funky and I'm obsessed with Flamingos so this is already a winner for me!

Ruth Crilly the creator of all things Colab hair had created a beautiful new white residue free dry shampoo that smells of a tropical coconut 'scentsation'! A fab new products available at Superdrug and Feel Unique. RRP £3.49 (200ml).

And lastly for this favourites post is the Caudalie Premier Cru eye cream (£49), new to me.

I must admit eye cream was a part of my skincare routine I used to miss out regularly.

This Caudalie Premier Cru eye cream is an amazing luxury product to help with anti ageing, dark circles (yasss), puffiness, smoothness and brightening of the eye area.

I have been applying this morning and night, using just one pump. It has helped brighten my under eyes, smooth out my skin and fade my darkness, which was much needed. You can really feel a difference from the first use with its luxurious tinted ingredients. It's fragrance free which I think is essential for most, with it being used in the delicate eye area.

And hurry, at the moment you can currently get a FREE 200ml body lotion with purchases of £45 and more, using code BODY17.

Let me know some of your favourites right now.

Stepping into Spring with Landon Tyler

Are you ready for Spring?
I know I am ...  I'm not sure how much more of this horrible weather I can take!

Things that always cheer me up are a bit of sunshine, family time, a movie, blanket and a good old candle, and I have a perfect one from Landon Tyler.

Landon Tyler are a new home fragrance company to me, and have recently launched into Boots.

They currently have 12 beautiful scented fragrances all available in single candles, triple candles, diffusers and gift sets in their beautiful smoked glass finish.

I have the Country Meadow triple candle* (£14) which gives up to 30 hours burn time, and really does fill the room with its fresh scent.

It's described as:

'An invigorating fresh scent combining rose, jasmine, neroli, yang and soft musk.'

My verdict:

I think the packaging on these products is spot on, really classic looking and adds a dash of elegance to any room. Their candles look and feel like they have just stepped out of a Pinterest board, incredible.
The scent and throw from this candle is just perfect, not too much and not too little. Sometimes candles can be a little overpowering but this is just right for such a beautiful Spring scent.

Go and check them out for yourself

What's your favourite candle/s for Spring?

My Glossybox contents ...

With Valentine's nearly here the beauty boxes are loving the 'Love' theme this month, and Glossybox are no exception with their gorgeous special edition box this month.

Glossybox always have amazing, mostly full sized products in their boxes each month. This month, four out of the five products inside my box are full sized, which makes Glossybox excellent value for money (£10.00+p&p).

The first thing I was drawn to in my box was the L'Eau de Rose eau de parfum spray. It's a 30ml full sized perfume (worth £20.00 alone). Unfortunately for myself, I'm not a fan of Rose scented products, but my daughter Amber does and has already taken it off of my hands!

A product I'm super excited to try out in my box is the La Theorie of Volcans face mask scrub.

Another full sized product (worth £26.00), that is made up of volcanic paste which helps to cleanse and purify the skin. It says it helps to plump the skin also, which I really enjoy in a product. I adore most face masks and I'm super intrigued to try this one out.

The only product that isn't full size in my box is the Garnier Ultimate Blends honey treasures strength restore balm (full size would cost £4.49).  This is a hair mask treatment designed to help with damaged hair. I have tried out the shampoo, conditioner and serum in this range when it first came out, which were all lovely products.

I'm enjoying using all things nude in makeup at the minute, if it be on my lips, eyes or nails. So this Ciate full sized nail paint in the shade Iced Frappe is perfect for me.
Ciate nail paints are worth £9.00 each.

I always use a highlighter over the top of my makeup, this MeMeMe Beat the Blues liquid highlighter in the shade Oyster Gold is a beauty. It comes in a pot shaped like a nail varnish, making it easy to apply straight from the brush or with your fingertip's/beauty tool, whichever you prefer.
It will also work great mixed in with a foundation to give an extra dewy finish.
Full size worth £7.25.

Our in card sneak peek tells us we are in for a Sleek Cosmetics treat in next month's box!
We will also get to choose which one of the four Sleek eye and cheek palettes we want to receive with a pick your own email ... Exciting times! Im eyeing up the bottom left palette with its copper brown shade tones.

What are your thought's on this month's Glossybox? (The content's are worth just under £65.00).
Let me know in the comments below which your favourite product/s are.
