Lord & Berry: #TeamNude

Lord & Berry is a brand that I haven't really ever tried too much from, except the odd lip crayon when they arrive in a beauty box. So I was so excited to be ask to try some more out* and weather I was #TeamNude or #TeamBold.

Of course I am #TeamNude since I have got older (now I'm 30 years old) and have changed my makeup dramatically since when I was younger.

I have now found one of my favourite everyday nude lippies thanks to being able to try some more Lord & Berry, the 20100 Matte lip crayon in the shade Allure (£12.00). I adore the formula and shade so much and it's always in my handbag as an easy throw on option that goes with everything.

I'm super duper pale and always always need a good bronzer, so this Lord & Berry bronzer in the shade Golden (£19.00) was welcomed highley indeed. I have found the shade amazingly pigmented and the formula gorgeously silky and easy to apply, using a large powder brush. It helps give my face a warmth, a glow and just helps me look way more alive than I look first thing in a morning!

Im a huge eyeshadow lover and wear it on a daily basis with my makeup, literally couldn't be without. These nude, brown and khaki Lord & Berry Seta single eyeshadows (£12.00 each), are just perfect shades that I love wearing.

From left to right we have the shades: Thunder, Mocha & Star eyeshadows (along with the lipstick swatch far right.)

Aren't they just stunning?

All these Lord & Berry product's can be purchased on along with so many more of their incredible products. Lord & Berry products now on my wishlist include the lip oil potions, luminizer, and their stardust loose pigment eyeshadows. What about you?

Thanks so much for stopping by, speak soon.

Patisserie De Bain

Patisserie De Bain is created from the fabulous UK based company Rose&Co that makes all things delicious in beauty products. They have an amazing range of bath and body products that smell divine.

My favourite scent is the 'Sweet as Cherry Pie' which for me is pure heaven, it's is a mix of cherry and sweet vanilla that smells incredible.

I have a large range of the Sweet as Cherry Pie products* which can all be found on the Rose&Co website, I literally love it all.

I also have a fair few of their amazing hand creams that all my family use. Each of us have our own favourite scents that we get so much use out of, because not only do they smell amazing but they are so super moisturising on the hands and really help the condition if our hands.

Patisserie De Bain also do the following scents:

Cranberries & Cream
Strawberry Cupcake
Sugared Violet
Lemon Bon Bon
Orange Crush
Creme Patisserie

They all smell so beautiful and good enough to eat, but obviously they are NOT edible.

Im so excited for any new scents that might be in the pipeline to be released this year, so stay tuned to JinksyBeauty to hear all about those here!

New Chamilia Beauty and the Beast collection

If you didn't already know myself and my family are massive Disney fans and we literally can't wait for the new Beauty and the Beast live action film to be released this March. I love the films, the merchandise, absolutely everything and its our family goal to one day visit DisneyWorld Florida. We have an extremely small Florida fund at the moment but this year I really need to make an effort to save more or we are never going to get there.

I own a beautiful Chamilia bracelet that I have had for years and is actually full to the brim, it's amazing and I wear it a lot !

When I spotted that Chamilia were bringing out a Beauty and the Beast collection I knew that I just had to share it with you guys as so many of us are Disney obsessed! I know this collection is going to do well just from the messages I've had via my Instagram account.

So this incredible collection featuring Swarovski Crystals is being released on the 15th January ...

This stunning 'Belle's Heart' (£40) has Belle in black enamel on one side in a magical font and stunning red Swarovski Crystals covering the heart on the reverse. Perfect charm as it is but wouldn't this make the best Valentine's present also? Get them partner's reading this post and making notes!

Another double sided charm is the 'Tale as Old as Time' book charm (£40). It has the stunning and iconic red rose on the one side in more beautiful Swarovski Crystals and the gorgeous saying that is 'Tale as Old as Time' on the reverse.

Onto some of the iconic Beauty and the Beast characters, starting with the 'Lumiere' charm (£45).
Standing proud this cute candlestick has accents of gold and black enamel and is a right cutie.
(So wish they produced a Cogsworth to go with him though).

How incredible is the 'Mrs Potts' charm (£45), everyone's favourite in stunning sterling silver and purple enamel accents. I think for sure she is going to be one of their best sellers along side her side kick ...

It's 'Chip', how adorable is he. This hanging charm (£35) is super fun and quirky for anyone's Chamilia collection. These characters are what make Beauty and the Beast so unique.

The charms are all interchangeable and can be switch on and off your bracelets as you wish.

Or alternatively there is a 'Beauty and the Beast Gift Set' ...

This gift set (£115) is an incredible duo of a stunning sterling silver necklace and earrings with rose gold roses and pink Swarovski Zirconia accents.

All these are launching on the 15th January on and Europe as well as select retailers in these countries including H Samuel and Ernest Jones in the UK.

Which are your must have charms?

Battle of the beauty boxes ...

So many beauty boxes, just which to choose?

I do hope that here on JinksyBeauty me sharing so many beauty/subscription boxes, it somehow helps you decide what's best for you.

Today I'm going to do Battle of the Beauty boxes with Love Me Beauty and You Beauty box, these are both slightly different to the normal like Glossybox and Birchbox (which have both just had their own blogposts ... go check them out), where you pick the items you want ...

Both companies have incredible brands available and really are a fabulous way to try out some newbies without paying the massive price tag attached to some products.

Love Me Beauty has an online boutique where each month it provides you with credits in which you select which products you want to receive. If you want more, you can purchase additional credits to do so.

Here are just some of the products that have been available recently on Love Me Beauty*, they are always updating and stocking new exciting products on their boutique. My favourite's of recent have been Kat Von D, Aromatherapy Associates, Laura Mercier and many more.

If you want to sign up to Love Me Beauty you can gain 20% off your first box by using the code karen20 (please make sure you use lower case letters for the code to work).

Onto You Beauty box, who have really stepped up their game recently.

You Beauty box always used to be £6.95 a month and we got to select two items that we wanted to receive and they sent a couple of extras that every subscriber received.

Now you can either do that which is the Bronze membership or pay £8.95 (Silver member) and pick three of your products or £10.95 (Gold member) and pick four items each month.
You pick your items on the 1st of every month by simply logging into your online account.

These are the four items I picked to receive this month, which are all body/skincare themed.

Nip and Fab Glycolic fix serum which is from my favourite skincare brand.
MasqueBar pore refining creme mask as I'm a mask addict.
Dr.Ceuticals foot scrub as I don't currently own a foot scrub.
And Dr Dennis Gross daily peel treatments, which I'm most excited about as they sound incredible.

Our little sachet extra's this month was the Aussie 3 minute miracle conditioner which I love and a tiny hand cream which doesn't excite me at all, but hey!

So there we have both subscription services and their contents...

Which is your favourite? Im just not sure I can decide a favourite as I adore both, so I will leave it up to you to decide. Let me know in the comments below.

Remember if you sign up to Love Me Beauty to use my code* (karen20) for your discount.

My January Glossybox ...

The first Glossybox of the year has arrived and it contains one of my all time favourite skincare brands, and a face mask! Fabulous start but that's sorta where it ends with this one I'm afraid ... but let's start off with the good and work our way down!

Nip & Fab has been a regular in my skincare routine for a good while now and I absolutely love it. I really truly feel like this is a skincare brand where the products really feel and look like they make a difference to my skin. I currently use the Nip & Fab Bee sting moisturiser which I adore and can't wait to try this deluxe size Kale Fix moisturiser next. RRP £19.95 (full size).

The first thing I spotted when I opened my box was this Vitamasques Manuka Honey face mask, I was so super thrilled to get this as after seeing sneak peeks for the box I knew this was a product I wanted (being a face mask addict an all). This is a Korean made hydrating mask and one that I'm intrigued to try out. RRP £3.99.

I love The Balm Cosmetics products, I already own one of their eyeshadow palettes and their Mary-Lou highlighter that I adore. So at first glance I was happy to receive this Matte eyeshadow sample, but thats really all it is, a free sample (states it on the back).

It's a tiny sample but actually states it's full size on the product card, somehow think this was a little mistake. The full size palette is RRP £34.00.

Now although I love a lip product, the reason I'm not over impressed with this one is that it's a repeat product for me, also had it in a Glossybox not so long ago. RRP £5.00.

And lastly the product that doesn't excite me at all I'm afraid, The Unani Illuminate Milk Cleanser.
I have used a product from this brand before and I'm just not into them unfortuntely. But great that it's a full size product, worth RRP £14.00.

What are your thoughts on my box this month? Do you get Glossybox? Let me know what you received in the comments below.
