Lip balm Essentials

Winter weather can be torture on our precious lips and lipcare is a must for most of us at this time of the year.

With so many different lip balms out there I thought I would gather together some of my all time favourites to share with you in this lip balm post!

The Nuxe Reve De Miel is a cult favourite of many but something I have only recently tried out for myself, and I love it!

They have brought out three fabulous limited edition packagings of the Reve De Miel, with the same famous formula which has a subtle taste of grapefruit. I have the green packaging which is called Nature, they also do purple which is called Rock and pretty pink which is called Glam.

This is the most pricey lip balm in my post at £9.50 but it is packed with precious oils and honey that helps to not only nourish but also sooth, repair and protect the lips. Available at

Onto one of my favourites which is the Burts Bees Ginger Spice lip balm*. This is again a limited edition for the winter months but smells absolutely incredible (like fresh baked ginergbread) while still being packed with all the Burts Bees goodness.

Burts Bees are all natural products and are stocked in Boots stores and Boots online.

When my lips are suffering I always reach for some trusty Carmex*, they always seem to do the job.

Carmex have a great variety of lip balms that come in tubes and pots with loads of amazing scents. My favourite is the Cherry Carmex as I adore all Cherry scented products and this one also has SPF15.

Each sell for £2.69, available in Boots.

If you know someone who is lipbalm mad then you may want to pick them up an amazing Lip Smacker Ornament collection*. These are available for the Christmas period and contain four juicy scents in each set, perfect as a gift for someone or just for yourself!

The Lip Smacker ornament sets (£8) and singles (£3.50) are available in Claire's stores and online.

If you prefer a hint of colour then the perfect option is the Loreal Infallible Sexy Balms.

I received this beautiful set in my Blogger Halloween Party goodie bag, kindly gifted from World Duty Free, but unfortunately this set is no longer available from them. But happy days these amazing balms can be purchased on most Loreal counters in any Boots or Superdrug stores including online.

Each balm retails for £4.99 each and can come in Sheer like what I have here or the Bold which is a more intense colour coverage but with the same moisturising ingredients.

Thats it for my lip balm round up, stay tuned for more gift guides coming your way very soon!

Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to let me know you favourite lip balms.
