My October Birchbox

October Birchbox brings us a beautiful Astrology glow in the dark themed beauty box. I'm a Libra (not sure I am though with the whole change of starsign saga) so my box was the Air box.

This months box has a great variety of beauty items like haircare, body, skincare, makeup, beauty tools and I even received another cute Birchbox bangle due to the Birchbox referral scheme, thanks guys! Love it!

My favourite item from this months box was the Lord & Berry 20100 Maxi Matte Crayon Lipstick in the shade Intimacy. It's such an amazing Autumnal colour with its mauve berry tones and just a fab formula. It's a full size item worth £12.00 so already the cost of my box was basically covered.

I also received a Batiste Oomph My Locks XXL Volume Spray which is always handy and fab as I haven't tried this product before. It's a spin off from the brands famous dry shampoo range so I'm excited to try this out. This is a sample size, full size RRP £4.29.

I rather like the brand Rituals so loved that I received the Sakura Magic Touch Body Cream in the organic rice milk and cherry blossom scent. I have rather a few Rituals products and samples now as they seem to be a regular in many beauty boxes I receive. This is a 70ml sample so a fab size, full size is RRP £19.50.

I got the Whish Renewing Mud Mask sample which sounds fab as it states it an exfoliating mask with fruit enzymes to brighten and purity the skin. The only problem I have found with this and previous Whish products I have received is you get very little product to try. This is a good size outer packaging but it only actually contains 15ml, so not great. And to top it off when I removed the foil seal (while holding it upright) it decided to spurt out onto my new dressing gown!

Another hair product I received was the Number 4 Restore & Repair oil which I'm sure I have had before in a beauty box. Always handy to have little hair products as they can be taken on any trips without having to take big full size versions. Sample size with full size being RRP £18.00.

And the last product in my box this month was a Birchbox Exclusive eyebrow brush. Now I have to admit I wasn't over impressed with getting this in my box as it really does feel super cheap and I already have a few of these type of brushes. RRP £1.99.

So overall another lovely Birchbox with useful products, I was especially excited with my new Lord & Berry lipstick, super glad they put that in my box. Only disappointment was the amount of Mud Mask in the sample and the cheap eyebrow brush.
