The Latest From Flamingo Candles

As a blogger I get many exciting packages delivered to my door, new releases, product for reviews etc. But nothing gets me as excited as when a Flamingo Candles delivery arrives, especially when its filled with newbies to try out. I love the company, I love the products and this seriously fills me with happiness ...

Flamingo Candles have been so super busy creating many many new candles, scents and themes to bring us for the Autumn & Winter months. They were so kind to send me some of these to try.

Here I have the gorgeous purple Hot Fudge candle with a cute but mean Dinosaur on the front, this smells incredible with its notes of sugar and vanilla. It's their regular jar candle size from Flamingo candles and burns upto 50 hours. £12.00.

Then we have my favourite the Mermaid Tears which is a slightly different jar design and has a beautiful ombre colouration from turquoise to purple. Mermaid Tears has a burn time of 40-50 hours and contains notes of blackcurrant, orange, vanilla and lemon. £12.00.

And lastly in my box of treats is the Chocolate Orange, which I legit think if you closed your eyes you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a real Chocolate Orange and this candle! But makes sure its not lit if you do decide to try this out! This candle is in a tin design and has a burn time of 40 hours. £8.50.

So as if they weren't enough for you ... I then went on and made a purchase of the stunning Halloween edition Salted Caramel Apple in the amazing Black Unicorn design.

This is the most incredible scented candle ever, I knew I was going to love it before I smelt it. Its notes are apple soaked in warm salted caramel with creamy vanilla and musk. Just perfect! This again is the regular jar candle with a burn time of 50 hours. £12.00.

Be warned, some of these are limited edition and if they haven't sold out already then they won't be around for long. So pop over and check out today and see their newbies for yourself. Let me know in the comments which you would go for.

Thanks for stopping by.

Love Me Beauty Box

Love Me Beauty is the most fabulous Beauty Box to be subscribed to, I love the brands and variety the the box has to offer. I also think its great that you can pick exactly what you receive, as I know with a lot of Beauty Boxes you just get what your given!

Love Me Beauty has had the most amazing brands recently including Kat Von D Beauty, Make Up Forever, Benefit Cosmetics, Tangle Teezer and so many more.

Love Me Beauty has a fabulous 'Boutique' that you choose your goodies from each month. You have credits where you pick the products that you want to receive and if they weren't enough, you can purchase extra credits to get more goodies.

The Benefit Cosmetics products are incredible and great deluxe sizes to try out. The Dew the Hoola is a rather new product to Benefit Cosmetics and is a soft matte liquid bronzer for the face. I love that you can try out these products and decide if its for you before purchasing.

The Benefit Ready, Set, Brow is an invisible gel, perfect for setting the brows after using my favourite brow product right now, the Goof Proof brow pencil. I had a sample of the Goof Proof brow pencil in a magazine when it first came out and I fell in love then, so I'm super happy to have another. I find the Goof Proof simple, quick and easy to use, especially handy when I'm in a rush in the morning. I simply mark out the top and bottom of my brows and fill in. True life saver product!

I have received Make Up Forever products in my Love Me Beauty box before and really enjoyed using them. They are a pricey brand and its lovely to pick and use the cute sample sizes that the Boutique has to offer.

Take a look at Love Me Beauty for yourself and let me know what you would choose.

Use my code karen20 (lower case letters) to gain 20% off your box of goodies.

My October Birchbox

October Birchbox brings us a beautiful Astrology glow in the dark themed beauty box. I'm a Libra (not sure I am though with the whole change of starsign saga) so my box was the Air box.

This months box has a great variety of beauty items like haircare, body, skincare, makeup, beauty tools and I even received another cute Birchbox bangle due to the Birchbox referral scheme, thanks guys! Love it!

My favourite item from this months box was the Lord & Berry 20100 Maxi Matte Crayon Lipstick in the shade Intimacy. It's such an amazing Autumnal colour with its mauve berry tones and just a fab formula. It's a full size item worth £12.00 so already the cost of my box was basically covered.

I also received a Batiste Oomph My Locks XXL Volume Spray which is always handy and fab as I haven't tried this product before. It's a spin off from the brands famous dry shampoo range so I'm excited to try this out. This is a sample size, full size RRP £4.29.

I rather like the brand Rituals so loved that I received the Sakura Magic Touch Body Cream in the organic rice milk and cherry blossom scent. I have rather a few Rituals products and samples now as they seem to be a regular in many beauty boxes I receive. This is a 70ml sample so a fab size, full size is RRP £19.50.

I got the Whish Renewing Mud Mask sample which sounds fab as it states it an exfoliating mask with fruit enzymes to brighten and purity the skin. The only problem I have found with this and previous Whish products I have received is you get very little product to try. This is a good size outer packaging but it only actually contains 15ml, so not great. And to top it off when I removed the foil seal (while holding it upright) it decided to spurt out onto my new dressing gown!

Another hair product I received was the Number 4 Restore & Repair oil which I'm sure I have had before in a beauty box. Always handy to have little hair products as they can be taken on any trips without having to take big full size versions. Sample size with full size being RRP £18.00.

And the last product in my box this month was a Birchbox Exclusive eyebrow brush. Now I have to admit I wasn't over impressed with getting this in my box as it really does feel super cheap and I already have a few of these type of brushes. RRP £1.99.

So overall another lovely Birchbox with useful products, I was especially excited with my new Lord & Berry lipstick, super glad they put that in my box. Only disappointment was the amount of Mud Mask in the sample and the cheap eyebrow brush.

Are you a Birchbox subscriber? Let me know in the comments what your received or what you liked in my box this month. Not a subscriber but want to be? Click here to sign up and you will receive an extra £5.00 worth of Birchbox eshop points from going through this link. I adore the Birchbox shop and love to spend my points on beauty treats that I normally wouldn't purchase.
