My Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks

I'm a huge Urban Decay fan, I love everything from their eyeshadow palettes, eyeliners, foundation, highlighters, blush and more. One thing I don't have much of is lip products and after seeing so many swatches of the newbie Vice Lipsticks, I just had to try them out!

First of all how amazing is the packaging, it's just stunning, a real dressing table staple.

I had never seen the new Lippies on a counter, so I used the trusty Internet as my guide for what shades to pick, and made my purchases via Feel Unique as I had a coupon code from my Pick N Mix haul. I would have loved the Comfort matte shade in Backtalk, but this shade always seems sold out, clearly popular.

So the two I went for were both the Cream formulation and both quite neutral mauve toned nudes. Urban Decay have 100 lipsticks in this collection, but I was gravitating towards these similar shades with the swatches and reviews I was reading online. The shades I went for were Rush (left) and Violate (right).

These lipsticks retail for £15 in most shops, but Feel Unique have 10% off them making them £13.50 each. The delivery as always from Feel Unique is fast, the site and everything that goes with it is simple. I would most definitely recommend ordering from them if you are in the UK.

Now onto the swatches and how I feel about them ...

So as above Rush (left) and Violate (right).

As you can see they have great depth of colour and as the name would suggest are a lovely creamy consistency. They glide on the lips with ease, no tugging in the slightest. The wear time on these worn alone is approx 3-4 hours on me, a really comfortable wear and is a much longer wear time with a lipliner worn all over the lips underneath them.

The only negative is I would have liked to have seen a tiny bit more product on the lipstick bullet as it seems a little on the small side to me, although I love the indented UD sign, super cute!

Let me know if you have tried the UD Vice lipsticks and any shade recommendations you may have. I would love to try out a comfort matte formulation to compare the feeling on the lips and wear time.

Thanks for stopping by.

My Happiness Planner Goodies ...

Happiness Planner as a company really do aim to please, aim to bring out that happiness from inside. They have so many cute, adorable and darn right amazing products to really try and help the inner us. I have been struggling with a few things recently and really find writing things down, planning things out, setting goals to really help my focus.

I have a lovely Happiness Planner collection* that I'm going to share with you in this post, but let's start with the big daddy of them all! The gorgous Mid year (July-June) Mint & Rose gold planner.

It arrives in an impressive mint storage box with the large and rather thick planner inside along with some cute matching clips and additional print outs. The planner itself is really rather lovely, and so much bigger than I thought that it would be (230mmX165mm). It has the most stunning rose gold spiral bound finish, with amazing attention to detail, you can really tell that these were made to a lovely high standard.

Inside is full of positivity with its empowering quotes, questions that make you focus on what makes you happy, activities to help you focus your mind on what helps you. The planner helps you set goals, plan your life and identify your strengths and weaknesses to aid future development.

Once you get into each month and day by day pages it continues the theme of setting goals, identifying what helps get you to where you need to be and always makes you remember what makes you happy. It's like a constant reminder trying to train you to continue doing the things that make you happy.

The planner has so much space for reflection and you can even score yourself to your happiness rating for the month . It allows you to look over times that you have struggled and gives you an opportunity to write down how you overcame them so as to train your brain to solve it before it starts again.

The whole planner really is a great way to help yourself, just concerntrate on you.

The July 2016-June 2017 that I have is normally £40.00 but as we are a little way into it, they are now on sale at £32.00. Or you can opt for the planners starting in January if you don't mind waiting a little longer to start your planner.

I love my The Happy Notes A5 notebooks. They come each with 100 pages in a gorgeous matte black and white design with gold foil embossed lettering on the front. They have lined paper on the right hand side with a little space for the date and blank pages on the left hand side, making them really versatile to do what you want with them. The Happy Notes are £8.00.

Or they also do Inspirational notepads with four different designs which are designed to help motivate, organise and achieve them all important goals. These are A5 in size, each with 50 sheets of paper.

Each notepad is designed where the front cover is detached, making them a great deskpads to keep on display at all times, a constant reminder. They have a lovely peach colour theme which I think is rather calming in colour, and the same I feel with all the Happiness Planner goodies.

So the themes of the pads are:
~ Get Fit & Healthy
~ Change a Habit in 30 Days
~ My Goals
~ Notes about My Life

The notepads are so simple but effective and really are a great addition to anyone's planner collection.

They are £7.00 each or you can purchase all four for £22.00.

And if that wasn't enough then you may need some Inspirational colourful pencils with quotes on each one to go along with your goodies. (They are normal writing pencils, not colouring pencils). Aren't they so super adorable, they come in a lovely box with a matching gold sharpener and just add so much cuteness. These pencils are normally £12.00 but are on sale at £10.00.

So to sum up, if you hadn't guessed already, I'm obsessed with all things Happiness Planner. Go check them out for yourself either on their UK site or US site. Let me know your favourites in the comments.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope this blogpost has helped you in some way.

Glossybox: Rae Feather

Glossybox is always an exciting arrival, mainly because I like to see what new storage box I will receive (I do love the durability of the glossyboxes)! And this month's didn't disappoint, we got a gorgeous pale pink and grey Rae Feather themed box to celebrate Glossies five years birthday! Well done guys! And to celebrate their birthday I have a special code for your to sign up if you wish, so stay tuned until the end, or scroll down now if you can't wait!

And with the Rae Feather themed box brings me to my first product from Augusts beautiful box ... The Mini Monogram Pochette, well it's a cute makeup bag is what I would call it. This has a recommended retail price of £20.

Glossybox gave us the chance to pick our own MUA eyeshadow palette for this month's box. Now this didn't exactly go to plan as they had a slight technical issue and most people received the wrong selection. But Glossybox being Glossybox, they have the most amazing customer service and decided to send people their correct choice in the next box. Well that's the email I received anyway, which I think is amazing. I selected the Bronze palette but my box contained the Starry Night palette, which I will be keeping for a future giveaway! (Look out for that) RRP £4.

The product I am most excited about in this month's box is the Mudmasky facial detox purifying recovery mask. I have heard amazing amazing reviews about this mask, and I'm actually trying mine out after completing this post. A full size of this cost £53!

Another intriguing facial skincare product is the Spa to you deep pore facial cleansing brush, designed to buff away those dead skin cells on our delicate faces! This product mixes soft bristles with silicone cushions to help massage the skin back to life. RRP £6.99.

And lastly is the a Wild Cow invigorating Cowshed body lotion, it's in a cute mini form which is great for travelling or just to try a new product out. I've always wanted to go to the Cowshed spa, I think it's looks and sounds incredible from what I have seen. Have you been? Full size is £20.

So that completes the contents of Augusts Rae Feather Glossybox, a fab little mix of products with a box value of £53. The products I'm most excited about are the skincare products. What's your favourite products and thoughts on this month's box? Let me know I'm the comments.

I'm soooooo thrilled that in our boxes next month's we will be receiving a fabulous Too Faced deluxe mascara, thanks for the knowledge inbox card. The Too Faced better than mascara is one of my favourites, I'm a massive fan.

If you want to get your hands on this month's box? I have a special link and code to get you a free gift bundle which will include three extra products worth over £20. WowZa hey?! Click here to sign up today and use the code AUGGIFTBOXES.
