Glossybox vs Birchbox

I always get asked the question which is better Glossybox or Birchbox! So here I'm going to share with you both of their July boxes to let you judge for yourselves, and tell you my winner for the month. Let me know at the end of this post in the comments which box you think was the winner for this month.

The most exciting things for me in this box at first glance was the Hawaiian Tropics SPF lipgloss and the Blanc Canvas F20 makeup brush, I will get use out of both of these. Next thing that I may give a go is the Utan nourishing night creme, sounds interesting.

The last two products if I'm honest I won't use. The Hairon detangle brush because I have my favourite Tangle Angel and Tangle Teezers already. And the Icona Milano mascara as the packaging on this just feels super cheap and I have so many fabulous mascaras I would rather pick up than this.

So that's Glossybox! What do you think? It's a complete half n half split for me, but other people may have a different opinion. If you want to sign up then just click here. *

Now onto Julys Birchbox which was a collab with Millie Mackintosh...

Birchbox always for me has really fab brands and I adore the eshop where you can spend your points. This month's Birchbox we got to pick which full size John Frieda we wanted via a choose your own email, I went for the 7 day volume in shower treatment.

I love a face mask so was super happy with the Hydraluron moisture boosting sheet mask in my box this month. I have recently brought a box of these and the RRP is £19.99 for a box of four, but I actually picked mine up from Tkmaxx for £5.99 so keep your eyes peeled there. Love that shop.

Another two fab brands with a mini Nails Inc nail polish in the shade little George street, fab colour for me. And Elemis Hydra-Nourish night cream sample which is a pretty pricey luxury skincare brand, so this is great to try out.

Lastly the Mille Mackintosh collab LOC lip crayon in the shade Bohemian Rose, I did do a swatch of this but it's only a sheer wash of pink so didn't turn out very well. I have heard good things about their LOC matte lip crayons though. Want to sign up to Birchbox then click here (by doing this you and I will gain an extra £5 worth of Birchbox eshop points).

For me the winner this month was Birchbox as it has fab brands and more useable products for me, and you always gain some of the box cost back by completing the surveys and gaining eshop points. I do adore the eshop for a fabulous guilt free treat. Let me know your winner in the comments.
