For the Dreamers: Birchbox

These months just fly by, before you know it I'm sharing another one of my favourite beauty subscription boxes! Well let's be fair, it happens most times I post at the minute. This time we have Birchbox, themed 'for the dreamers'.

This month's box had an unusual twist, the top was a massive exciting scratch card where we could win a holiday! Some subscribers were very adventurous with their scratching designs, but my kids got hold of it and just scratched the lot of. Sadly I wasn't a winner but that's ok! I got my goodies inside my box!!!

The first thing I noticed and was extremely impressed with, was the Ole Henriksen clean truth cleansing cloth/wipes. I have been wanting to try these after seeing one of my favourite YouTubers MsBudgetBeauty talk about how fab they were. So this was a massive plus for Birchbox already! RRP £12.00 (30 wipes).

If you have been following me awhile you will already know I'm a massive fan of Spectrum Collections makeup brushes. So when the choose your own email arrived and I knew they were going to be in another box, I was thrilled. We got to pick if we wanted a pink or lilac Unicorn Tears Wonder Sponge in our box .... as you can see I went for lilac.

I have been loving applying my makeup with a beauty sponge lately and it's great for all types of formulas of makeup also. This sponge is only £4.99, which is amazing compared to the original beauty blender, which costs £16 alone.

How cute is the packaging to the Eyeko black magic mascara deluxe sample size that I also received in my box this month. The brush looks absolutely perfect for what I look for in a mascara wand, and this has been added to my box of many mascaras to try out soon. RRP £18.00 for full size.

A beauty extra in my box was the Givenchy Live irresistible fragrance sample, always a welcome little treat as they are always useful as they are great for popping in my handbag for a freshen up in the day. The Philip Kingsley PK Prep Polishing Balm is exactly what it says on the tin (tube) for the hair, and the Puriskin resurfacing cream has already come in handy to control an angry spot that appeared overnight.

So some products inside this month's box were massive hit with me, some are just useful. Overall I'm still really happy I receive Birchbox every month, and have been doing so for the past 21 months! They kindly rewarded for my loyalty with a 20% off the Birchbox shop code. Look out for my mini haul on my other social media channels. I shared my post delivery first on my Snapchat (jinksybeauty) which I'm very new on, so do give me a follow on there as I've been snap happy.

Thanks. Karen x JinksyBeauty x
