New Biore: Baking Soda range

I do love a new release! So when I heard Biore had a new innovative product launch I couldn't wait to try it out. Biore have brought out 'Baking Soda' newbies with their Pore Cleanser and Cleansing Scrub*. Both aimed to purify and clean out the skins dirt and oil, while still being gentle on the skin.

These have both been beautiful on my oily skin and have fab smoothing exfoliating properties, which I love. The Pore Cleanser (£4.99) I have been using of a nighttime to throughly clean off all my makeup and dirt from my face, it can be used both morning and nighttime, but I normally just use a Micellar water of a morning for quickness. The cleanser removes everything without stripping my skin of its natural oils and doesn't feel drying on the skin.

Along with the Cleansing Scrub (£7.99) that I have been using 2-3 times a week, my skin has felt super soft and fresh. The Cleansing Scrub is my favourite, so different and unique. It comes in a powder form where you add the water to activate the formula, turning it from powder to a foamy fizzy liquid. You control how much exfoliating action you want with this product which is amazing, depending on how much water you add!

Both products are available at or instores right now. So go check them out and let me know what you think to these fabulous newbies.

Disney Store Haul

I'm totally Disney mad, always have been, even before I had the kids! But now I have the perfect excuse to be super into all the cool Disney products out their, as my kids love Disney as much as me! Our dream is to one day go to Disney World Florida, savings pot needed! And we can never walk past a Disney Store without going in, we recently picked up a couple of gorgeous items....

We were soooooo excited to see the release of Disney Lego Minifigures recently and spotted them for the first time in the Disney Store at £2.50 each. I'm someone who will stand there feeling all the bags to see if I can tell who is inside, and think we did rather well at getting six different characters first time. We were especially happy to get Alice in Wonderland, as we are obsessed with all things Alice (As you can maybe tell!). We would love to get the Cheshire Cat minifigure but had no luck at being able to feel that one out (in the bag!)

As you can see from the top picture we brought a beautiful Alice in Wonderland T-Shirt for my daughter which wasn't too badly priced at £7.95. We then spotted the Alice Glass Compact Mirror!!! WowZa, just how beautiful is this? It's a definite must have!

This beautiful Alice in Wonderland compact mirror was such a good price at £9.95. It's soooo weighty and absolutely stunning, and I'm very jealous to say, it's my daughter's! .... I very much wanted one for myself!

We 100% need more Alice in Wonderland themed goodies, so please let me know the cute things you have spotted. Maybe we could do another Haul with all Alice in Wonderland products?

I can't wait to see the new 'Through the looking glass' film at the end of the month and also still need to see the new Jungle Book, heard great things!

Thanks for popping by my mini Disney Store Haul today. Hope you enjoyed.

Since receiving Flamingo Candle products I have been obsessed with all things Flamingo, let me know if you know any cute Flamingo themed products that I need to check out.

For the Dreamers: Birchbox

These months just fly by, before you know it I'm sharing another one of my favourite beauty subscription boxes! Well let's be fair, it happens most times I post at the minute. This time we have Birchbox, themed 'for the dreamers'.

This month's box had an unusual twist, the top was a massive exciting scratch card where we could win a holiday! Some subscribers were very adventurous with their scratching designs, but my kids got hold of it and just scratched the lot of. Sadly I wasn't a winner but that's ok! I got my goodies inside my box!!!

The first thing I noticed and was extremely impressed with, was the Ole Henriksen clean truth cleansing cloth/wipes. I have been wanting to try these after seeing one of my favourite YouTubers MsBudgetBeauty talk about how fab they were. So this was a massive plus for Birchbox already! RRP £12.00 (30 wipes).

If you have been following me awhile you will already know I'm a massive fan of Spectrum Collections makeup brushes. So when the choose your own email arrived and I knew they were going to be in another box, I was thrilled. We got to pick if we wanted a pink or lilac Unicorn Tears Wonder Sponge in our box .... as you can see I went for lilac.

I have been loving applying my makeup with a beauty sponge lately and it's great for all types of formulas of makeup also. This sponge is only £4.99, which is amazing compared to the original beauty blender, which costs £16 alone.

How cute is the packaging to the Eyeko black magic mascara deluxe sample size that I also received in my box this month. The brush looks absolutely perfect for what I look for in a mascara wand, and this has been added to my box of many mascaras to try out soon. RRP £18.00 for full size.

A beauty extra in my box was the Givenchy Live irresistible fragrance sample, always a welcome little treat as they are always useful as they are great for popping in my handbag for a freshen up in the day. The Philip Kingsley PK Prep Polishing Balm is exactly what it says on the tin (tube) for the hair, and the Puriskin resurfacing cream has already come in handy to control an angry spot that appeared overnight.

So some products inside this month's box were massive hit with me, some are just useful. Overall I'm still really happy I receive Birchbox every month, and have been doing so for the past 21 months! They kindly rewarded for my loyalty with a 20% off the Birchbox shop code. Look out for my mini haul on my other social media channels. I shared my post delivery first on my Snapchat (jinksybeauty) which I'm very new on, so do give me a follow on there as I've been snap happy.

Thanks. Karen x JinksyBeauty x
