Soap & Glory: New Gloss Stick

I love to try out new products on the beauty scene and was excited to see these Soap & Glory Gloss Sticks on my Boots App as new and exclusive to Boots. They are in mini form and retail for £3.50 each which is a fab price for a Soap & Glory product, especially as they are also on buy one get one for half price. So you can currently get two of these for £5.25 in Boots. There are five shades available to purchase but I didn't purchase the deeper purple shade, I have four of the shades to share with you.

As well as them being on such a great offer if you spend over £4 in Boots you will receive the fab No7 vouchers to use on No7 skincare and makeup (post coming soon on the Bloggers No7 Event). The Soap & Glory Gloss sticks don't contain a whole lot of product but I do love them for putting in my handbag and they are lovely on the lips. Super cute mini chubby stick packaging, each shade has different colour outer packaging which is handy for picking out which shade you want to wear quicker.

The four shades I purchased were nudist, pink-a-boo, technicoral and pink punch. I have swatched them all left to right in this order to make it easier to pick out the shade colours. The Gloss sticks are a 3d volume lip shine chubby stick which are part of the Sexy Mother Pucker range from Soap & Glory. They are said to visually volumise without the tingle of the original formula, creating fuller looking plumped lips with a Vanilla scent.

Only today did I realise that the product quantity inside is only approx double of the nib you see in the above pictures, so not a massive amount of product. They each contain 1.5g / 0.05oz. The formula of each Gloss Stick creates a lovely sheen of colour, not too opaque and perfect for the summer months or on days you don't want a heavy looking product on the lips.

The Gloss Sticks are a lot more sheer than the current chubby stick line from Soap & Glory, a lovely addition to the range. I enjoy using the blog-a-log powder and love the indulgent bathing products, with sugar crush being my favourite scent. I wonder if they will be bringing these minis out in full size! Now for the lip swatch time, I will again do them in the same order.

Pink Punch:

Having worn the Techincoral all day yesterday I have to say I was extremely impressed by them, it has a lovely moisturisng texture and stains the lips slightly with the colour which helps the durability of them lasting a long time. As it was a work day and I work at Boots wearing this really helped with our sales and people were loving the look they create, I do love people asking what makeup products I am wearing especially when they are an affordable pick up like these. What are your thoughts on these Gloss Sticks? Have you tried them out, would love to know your impression? Please chat with me in the comments section below the blogpost or on Twitter or Instagram!
