You Beauty Discovery: July

You Beauty Discovery is one of the cheapest beauty boxes around, at £6.95 all in with delivery it's not too bad. You get to pick two items at the start of the month from a little list and they send you a little selection of other treats.

I have to admit I think the little box itself is pointless, it's not reusable really and the items never fit in it properly. I do think they should rethink that and maybe just use a Jiffy bag. As I select two of the products the first I selected this month was the Nip & Fab body slim fix as I'm a huge Nip & Fab skincare fan so wanted to try that out. The other item was the Wild about Beauty Lipstick in the shade Eve, I'm not sure if everyone received the same shade or if their were variations.

Im yet to try the Nip & Fab but I'm not over keen on the lipstick. Very sheer coverage and not something I would normally go for, I do like the smell and the fact it has SPF thought. It also contains Argan oil so is great for the nourishment of the lips, so perfect for a hot summers day perhaps.

I was super excited to try out the St Tropez gradual tan in shower lotion even though I only have a bath. I used it this morning just on the top half of my body in the bath and then washed off, I can't see a massive difference but it is a gradual tan so it will hopefully get deeper each time. The box also included a £2 off voucher if we wanted to purchase a full size which is brilliant. We received a great sized sample of this being 50ml, so should definitely be able to tell if I like it from that.

We also received an Emma Hardie protect and prime sample which is exciting as this isn't cheap. I always see my favourite Youtubers using this so will be great to see what all the fuss is about. Also in the box was a little packet of Museli bars! Nice added extras. What are your thoughts on this box? Let me know in the comments.

Please check out my other beauty box posts, lots more coming soon also! Thanks. Karen x JinksyBeauty x
