Glossybox: July French Edition

Julys Glossybox Vive La France edition has arrived! The box design was no surprise as I had seen it all over Twitter, Instagram and other bloggers pages last month as some of them were lucky enough to be invited to a preview in France. The boxes details are amazing with so much thought that has gone into the whole box, inside and out. They were designed by a talented lady which I found on Instagram @JamieLeeReardin

I nearly missed the design at the bottom, but it's super cute and definitely a keeper for my collection. I'm absolutely loving the cute travel pouch bag included in this months box, also designed by Jamie Lee. Amazingly spacious makeup bag, great shape and easily folded to fit inside my handbag. Am I the only one who thinks it smells like Playdoh though? But I kinda like it!

When I first opened the box I didn't spot any brands I was completely familiar with apart from Yves Rocher. But with it being a French themed box I suppose we are to experiment slightly more with brands we haven't necessarily used before. But I understand most people want brands they know of. The product I'm most excited about is the Teoxane perfect skin refiner, this bad boy has 10% glycolic acid.

Fab size to get some real use out of, I'm a massive fan of things with glycolic acid as my normal skincare products are nip and fab with lots of it included. But the highest percentage of glycolic acid in my nip and fab is 5% so super excited to see what double the dose does. As with all potent treatments you must apply a high SPF to protect the skin well after use. I love it comes in a pump bottle, allowing only to use the smallest amount needed. Full size of this is £70, with my sample size worth £21.00 on its own.

Lollipops lip balm is the only full sized item and is worth £4.15. It's full of antioxidants, vitamin E and protects lips from UV damage. It's lovely gel like formula instantly nourishes and moisturises my lips, perfect for preparing lips before any lipstick.

I normally love a perfume and I do like the smell of this Yves Rochers sample but I hate the fact it hasn't got a spray top. I'm not the most careful of people and can see this going everywhere, totally puts me off using this with an open top I'm afraid. Great size though at 7.5ml.

The Noxidoxi enhancing serum base is super light in texture and silky smooth on the skin. This has CRC6 moisturising complex, helping to hydrate deeper below the skin surface. Being a serum it's vital this is applied directly before any moisture to enhance the benefits. Another great size of 25ml.

So lovely different products to try out with some special ingredients to help our previous skin. I would personally like to see more products that are easier to get in the UK in my Glossybox, better known brands to us. From looking at other peoples comments about this box they weren't that impressed, not everyone wants to try brands they haven't heard of. The box value was said to be £52 from this July box which is great value but I can understand that it's frustrating for subscribers that don't want most the products. The sneak peek brand of next months box is again a brand I haven't heard of before, Manna Kadar. I have to say I love the bag that came in this months box, super useful.
