Urban Decay: Naked On The Run!

So Debenhams did me over with their one day only deal, the Urban Decay Naked on the run palette was £25.90 on Friday! The palette is normally £37.00, so had a whooping 30% off it which is a fab deal for all the goodies you get in this Gorgous palette.

Super cute packaging with a uber cool design, the back shows you exactly what you get in your palette. A travel size Perversion mascara, mini 24/7 glide on eyeliner, full size Naked lipgloss, six eyeshadows with one being rather large, bronzer and blush. All these come in a lovely metal rose gold cool case.

When I saw this was on offer it wasn't something I was dying to get but I then watched some Youtubers videos and instantly said 'I need this in my life.' The obvious aim for this palette is it's great for travel as it has so many great products compactly all in one palette, which I actually don't travel a lot but maybe I should just to use it!!! Haha

I tried out the mascara this morning and was pleasantly surprised, a massive plus point is my eyes haven't felt irratated or runny which some items of makeup have made them do so recently. The perversion mascara has a thick wand that is easy to apply and hasn't smudged all day or felt too hard on my lashes which I tend to find my Benefit Rollerlash does. Even though I love my Rollerlash I really struggle getting it off unless I'm using my Super Facialist Vitamin C oil. I need to find a makeup remover that doesn't involve water for ease of use at night time that gets the Benefit masacaras off, suggestions would be greatly appreciated in the comments please. :)

The 24/7 glide on eyeliner in the shade stag, which is a deep brown shade. I used this on my waterline and slightly underneath and it has lasted really well, plus underneath my lash line hasn't budged all day whereas my waterline has disappeared but would have been easy to redo.

One if the items I was least exciting about getting in the palette was the Naked lipgloss, but since trying it I rather like it. It's a full size item which normally retails at £14.50 but this shade Sesso is exclusive to this set. My lips have been sore lately with all this lovely strange weather the UK has been having and when I applied this they instantly felt relived and moisturised, the colour is a definate your lips but better colour with a slight hint of sparkle.

On to the amazing eyeshadows, when I swatched these I was so surprised at the glitter and colour pay off even though I own the Naked one and two palettes. These shades are exclusive and new to this palette so you haven't got to worry if you think they may have doubled up from any the Naked palettes.
Swatched from left to right, with the shade names being dive, fix, resist, dare and stun. With fix and dare being the matte brown shades from this palette.

There is intense glitter when you swatch these and I wanted to show this so took the first fews pictures in sunlight to show it off. The shimmer doesn't come off as much when applied to the lids which I would have liked it too but understand most people wouldn't. My favourite shade is the far right a bronze glitzy shade called Stun. The palette has a large eyeshadow in the shade 50/50 which is a beautiful highlighting or all over lid shade, which has a lovely shimmer throughout. Swatched in the middle of the blush and eyeshadows below here.

On to the bronzer and brush in the palette, which I don't believe will be for everyone but I like them so I'm happy with them. The bronzer is slightly orange in shading and the blush is a bright bright pink shade that you only need the tiniest amount in the brush as with the bronzer, they are extremely pigmented! The swatches were done with my finger and would come across a lot differently on a brush on the face so you haven't got to worry about me going around looking like an orange clown, even though I do wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis. They will both definitely last along time, I couldn't see anyone hitting pan on them for a long while.

So here below is my whole arm swatched from left to right, bronzer, blush, 50/50 eyeshadow then the other five eyeshadows. I'm so happy with the quality in this on the run palette as usual from Urban Decay never disappointing.
